What to Expect
We'll get you familiar with our church so you feel prepared to join us in worship!

WHAT TIME SHOULD I SHOW UP?
We’d recommend showing up for services 10-15 minutes before services begin. This will give you plenty of time to catch a parking spot and connect with our Welcome Team who will let you know where the important stuff (like coffee or bathrooms) is located.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Come as you are! Seriously. We don’t have a dress code, and you'll find a whole range of dress and styles at our church.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
Just pull on into our parking lot! Overflow parking is located on Hill N Dale Rd, as well as Southland Pool.

WHERE SHOULD I GO?
After you park, you'll be greeted by one of our Hospitality Team members who will be able to show you where everything is. Make sure to stop by the info wall to learn more about GCC!
what about my kids?
We have environments designed specifically for children birth-5th grade! Once you are familiar with our space, head to the Kids check-in area, where you’ll be greeted by someone who will help you register your children. You’ll be handed a sticker with your child’s name, parent/guardian name(s) and phone number(s), as well as any allergies your child might have.
Once you’ve checked your child into class, you can head into worship and we’ll take it from there! Your child will participate in fun activities and experience an interactive Bible lesson taught by our awesome Kids Leaders!

what will i see and hear?
We strongly believe in the embodied gathering of believers to worship through song, prayer, and the preaching of God's Word. You'll experience a range of worship music styles, prayers of confession and assurance, plus challenging and relevant messages that declare the Good News of Jesus.
how long should I plan to stay?
All of our services are 75 minutes long, and all of our kids' programming is timed the same way so that as soon as you step out of service, you can pick up your kids. But we do think the best way to receive the most on a Sunday is by staying to make connections in the lobby so make plans to hang out a few minutes after if you can!
can i come if...?
No matter what you finish that sentence with, you are welcome here. We are a community full of all types of people from all types of backgrounds. The door is wide open for you to join us as we navigate life following Jesus together in community.

WHAT IS NEXT?
We think the best way to experience GCC is to visit in person...but that's only a part of it! Our Community Groups meet throughout the week to break bread, fellowship, discuss the week's sermon, and pray for one another. Community Groups also have the privilege of serving together with GCC Kids on a regular basis, as well as participate in many other church-wide activities such as Thanksgiving and Christmas Outreach. Join a group today! If you still have questions, want to meet with an elder or pastor, or you'd like prayer, fill out a Connect Card below!
